Can't install store on file manager

l need help installing my store onto my public/html folder in file manager l already
extracted the zip file in the public/html folder but when l type in my web address in the browser
like xxxxxx.tk/install l get a internal error message. l think the problem is l need to put the extracted
files that is inside my (fsb_7.1.1) extract folder into the public/html folder directly. So when
l go to type in the web address in the browser. It will prompt me to install my web store. But
any advice would help.

Thanks!

Yes…you need to extract all the files to “public_html”…For installer to start the process.

There isn’t a way for me to extract all the files into the public_html.
Do you know how l can do this? The files are inside my fsb_7.1.1 folder after l
extracted it from the zip.

You can do this too…

Delete all the files from “public_html”

extract “fsb_7.1.1” on your desktop…then enter “fsb_7.1.1” folder …

Now select all the files and zip it.

After this…now upload to this newly zipped package to “upload_html”.

Then using 000webhost file manager…extract the zipped package.
Now all your files will be available in “public_html”.

Now you can run the installer!!!

l finally was able to get the files and folders in the public_html by using
Filezilla. The method you mention didn’t upload all the files in my fsb_7.1.1
folder. Now here is the problem l tried to run the installer again and still was
unsuccessful. So l looked at my store script requirements to run the store its
pasted below

Script Requirements
Requirements
Server Operating System: Linux or Unix
Web Server: Apache (or comparable)
PHP Version 5.3, 5.4 or 5.5
IonCube Module
MySQL Version 4 and Above

Does 000webhost.com meets these requirements? If not that could be the problem.

I guess it is…
Try again after changing your php version from …

“general settings” – “php version”(By default it is 7.1 …change it to 5.5(as you mentioned))

l finally installed it!!! all this time it was my .htaccess from fsb_7.1.1 folder
l had to delete that file in the public_html because when
l tired to run the install l would get a 500 internal error.
So l looked on youtube to resolve this issue and it was
the .htaccess file stopping the script from running.

Thanks for your help

i’m happy…you made it finally

is there a way l can view the server error logs? because remember when l removed the .htaccess file from
my public_html well now my store is up and when l click on a product on my store. l get a 500 internal error
and it tells me to check my server error logs?

Open FileZilla and in public_html there should be a file called ERROR_LOG download this and open in Notepad
